Help Wanted

*The Name.. i really dislike the name

*My header, its so basic but not even in a nice way (boohoo)

Sorry For My Absense

Heyy Everyone

Im so sorry for my lack of blogging, i just lost my interest completely... I've been really stressed recently with finishing up uni for summer, some personal issues and generally just feeling a bit miserable and run down.

A few changes and events have taken place since my last blog so i thought a little update would be a good start, and first of all everybody meet the new love of my life

This little beaut is our new addition to the family, we've name him Rou (pronounced as in giving someone a row with less emphasis on the w) haha. He's amazing and has been keeping me very busy!

I also decided to go full blonde the other week and Im loving it, I haven't been blonde since I was a young girl and really love the change. CHANGE IS GOOD! I don't have a good picture yet but as soon as I do I'll get one up :)

So Im finished for summer now but really need to get a full time job, there is so many things i wanna do this summer and getting away on holiday and attending a festival are top of the list. what things has everyone got planned this summer?? Any recommendations?

Another little adventure I wanted to tell u about was a little trip I took a trip with my best friend katie and her little boy oscar, we went to butterfly and insect world in Edinburgh, the weather was so nice and we went for lunch too. I got some really beautiful photos..

Help me ladies

Hey everyone

So I have my audition for 'The Million Pound Drop' tomorrow, it consists of two parts:

1. A short general knowledge quiz and introduction of myself on camera
2. Further stuff on camera

Its only gonna be two hours long and pretty relaxed, but I have no idea what to wear?? and how my make up and hair should be styled?? HELP PLEASE! haha all suggestions welcome!

Spring Has Sprung

Heyy everyone

Today has been a glorious day, sun was shining and I've been pretty productive. Im so excited for summer and to be finished with uni till September! To much stress and work at this time of year, but plenty to look forward to.. I decided to make my room more Spring like so bought these tulips at the weekend, I love fresh flowers

I've also toyed with the idea of 'OOTD' but to be quite honest my 'style' isnt all that interesting and some days I make more effort than others and to be honest i never really like the photos I take of myself, but heres one I took yesterday when I was playing about. I wore a black fitted casual Topshop dress, with this rusty orange cropped top form H&M over the top. I was meeting my grandparents in Edinburgh for dinner and to discuss plans for my parents 25th wedding anniversary.

Today I was very productive and a right wee house wifey, i tidied up, hoovered put washing on and even baked. GO ME!! haha heres the lovely biscuits I made:

Sunday Conclusions

Im definitely not a fan of Sunday, they seem to just be boring, lazy days either spent hungover or lingering in silly depressing thoughts....I am in such a crappy irritated mood tonight, not so great for blogging.

This weekend has been a quiet one, and not an awful lot to talk about except from a shopping trip today and  that I finally got round to watching 'The life and death of Charlie St Cloud' last night, I was crying before it was even a quarter of the way through!haha what a sap eh? I really enjoyed it and now want to get my hands on the book although kinda wish I had read the book first! Again like the last song its a family/love orientated story and very moving and WOW at Zac Efrons eyes, there so blue and amazing...never noticed before!

Oh and some very exciting news I forgot to share with you all, myself and my friend Jamie got a call to go for auditions for 'The Million Pound Drop' amazing!! so stupidly excited about it, it would be so so good to get on the show and hopefully win some money!! So fingers crossed everyone

Just a Little Update...

Hey everyone, hope your all well. Just a little update on what I've been up to..

Its coming to the end of term with uni and Im nearly done with second year (where has this year gone WOW) Im excited to be done for summer but theres just so much work to do right now.

After so many years of nagging, my mum and dad finally agreed to us getting a dog. I've always had my heart set on a black labrador and we went to see these wee cuties last Sunday:

The pictures from my mobile so please excuse the poor quality, but how amazing are they? We get to go pick ours in a few weeks when they have more character, I cant wait!! Im sure I will have plenty of blog updates when we get him!

My best friend Katie has a beautiful little boy called Oscar, and they also paid a visit this week! Hes getting soo big and I am so proud of her, shes a great mum and is doing so well with working 5 days a week studying and looking after Oscar! Amazing.. Heres a pic of him, so adorable:

This week past week has been so hectic and despite all the work I've been putting in trying to get all my assessments done, I finally got a treat! Since the age of 10 I've been obsessed with Westlife, and its something my Mum and I have always shared, and love that she has been so great with attending numerous concerts, signing etc. We got to see them again on Tuesday night in Newcastle and as always they were amazing, I find my inner child every time I go see them and become obsessed all over again! They put on a great show, most people think they just sit on stools and sing but anyone would be pleasantly surprised that there production is far more energetic without a stool in sight!

Thats really all the exciting things I've been doing in the last week, hope you all enjoyed my little update I have a few things to blog about and will be sure to do it as soon as I have some time.

And when my world is falling apart...

I just watched 'The Last Song' for the second time and felt the urge to do a blog about it. I read the book last year before watching the film and can truly say it was so unbelievably moving, such a great read. I also passed it on to my mum, she soared through it in roughly two days and also loved it.

The film is a bit of a disappointment after the book, but most film are as they don't capture every detail that the book can express but its definitely worth watching, especially if your a family orientated person and a sucker for a good love story, its truly beautiful!

So go read it and watch the movie!!

'Have Faith In Me'

Hello Again Lovies

I think Im finally back into this (fingers crossed). I have a few wee things to show you and just some general chat and thoughts...

First of all some nails varnishes, the first is a Barry M i purchased yesterday, I love the different tones through it and always find Barry M nail varnishes stay on without chipping for a reasonable length of time.

This one i number 313-  Dusky Mauve

The others are the AVON matte range, i was given 5 of these for my birthday but seem to have misplaced one of them, the one missing is a gorgeous ruby red colour. I really like these and first seen them on Fleur De Force blog the only disappointment with them is they chip really easily so only good for maybe a night out or for one day.

I had such a stressful day yesterday with a report due in to uni about facilities planning (bore) but I got it in and to make up for it I've had a really chilled today downloading music, doing some baking and tidying up my tip of a room, which i find kind of therapeutic at times particularly if Im in a bad mood haha. One of the song I downloaded today that i cant stop listening to is Ke$ha - 'The Harold Song'

With now hopefully being back into the swing of this blogging again I really want a new layout, something more mature and classy so I will need to get my thinking cap on, watch out for changes coming soon :) Ill be back soon..

She Will Be Loved...

At the risk of sounding like a typical girl with typical views on men, Im feeling a little inspired and in need of a rant tonight...

Me myself, Im a hopeless romantic with traditional views on life when it comes to love. I want to get married and have my big white dress my best friend as my bridesmaid, have a beautiful home and even more beautiful children, but most of all I want to be happy, to love and to be loved! - clearly watched far too many disney films as a young one!

I would say I have been in love and had that experience of having someone who has the ability to make you feel euphoric, magical, butterflies in the stomach and all that jazz but I begin to wonder if its all really worth it when it comes down the heartbreak? How much of yourself do u sacrifice for the one you love? And how long do you hold on before your heart finally lets go? Its something Ive struggled with for a while and its definitely something I cannot hide but I believe you should put your all into love and spoil that person with love, kindness and cuddles!

 Im a strong believer in 'everything happens for a reason', people go in and out of your life for a reason and whats meant to be will be, it all takes that annoying little thing called 'TIME'! gaaah so annoying. I wish i could switch off sometimes

Do guys truly mean what they say? Do they really feel the same things us girls feel? and do they really have the ability to be truthful and faithful?

So if anyone has some words of wisdom do share :)

Severe lack of posts going on here, things have ben hectic being the festive period and all and I've been really ill *sobs* but...

IM GOING TO LONDON TOMORROW!!

my first time in london other than being in Heathrow airport. Im going with 5 of my friends for lots of shopping, food and nights out, super excited. So Im sure ill have plenty new purchases and gossip to tell you all about when Im back.
