Just a Little Update...

Hey everyone, hope your all well. Just a little update on what I've been up to..

Its coming to the end of term with uni and Im nearly done with second year (where has this year gone WOW) Im excited to be done for summer but theres just so much work to do right now.

After so many years of nagging, my mum and dad finally agreed to us getting a dog. I've always had my heart set on a black labrador and we went to see these wee cuties last Sunday:

The pictures from my mobile so please excuse the poor quality, but how amazing are they? We get to go pick ours in a few weeks when they have more character, I cant wait!! Im sure I will have plenty of blog updates when we get him!

My best friend Katie has a beautiful little boy called Oscar, and they also paid a visit this week! Hes getting soo big and I am so proud of her, shes a great mum and is doing so well with working 5 days a week studying and looking after Oscar! Amazing.. Heres a pic of him, so adorable:

This week past week has been so hectic and despite all the work I've been putting in trying to get all my assessments done, I finally got a treat! Since the age of 10 I've been obsessed with Westlife, and its something my Mum and I have always shared, and love that she has been so great with attending numerous concerts, signing etc. We got to see them again on Tuesday night in Newcastle and as always they were amazing, I find my inner child every time I go see them and become obsessed all over again! They put on a great show, most people think they just sit on stools and sing but anyone would be pleasantly surprised that there production is far more energetic without a stool in sight!

Thats really all the exciting things I've been doing in the last week, hope you all enjoyed my little update I have a few things to blog about and will be sure to do it as soon as I have some time.

And when my world is falling apart...

I just watched 'The Last Song' for the second time and felt the urge to do a blog about it. I read the book last year before watching the film and can truly say it was so unbelievably moving, such a great read. I also passed it on to my mum, she soared through it in roughly two days and also loved it.

The film is a bit of a disappointment after the book, but most film are as they don't capture every detail that the book can express but its definitely worth watching, especially if your a family orientated person and a sucker for a good love story, its truly beautiful!

So go read it and watch the movie!!

'Have Faith In Me'

Hello Again Lovies

I think Im finally back into this (fingers crossed). I have a few wee things to show you and just some general chat and thoughts...

First of all some nails varnishes, the first is a Barry M i purchased yesterday, I love the different tones through it and always find Barry M nail varnishes stay on without chipping for a reasonable length of time.

This one i number 313-  Dusky Mauve

The others are the AVON matte range, i was given 5 of these for my birthday but seem to have misplaced one of them, the one missing is a gorgeous ruby red colour. I really like these and first seen them on Fleur De Force blog the only disappointment with them is they chip really easily so only good for maybe a night out or for one day.

And these two are 'Black as Night' and 'Grey Cement'

I had such a stressful day yesterday with a report due in to uni about facilities planning (bore) but I got it in and to make up for it I've had a really chilled today downloading music, doing some baking and tidying up my tip of a room, which i find kind of therapeutic at times particularly if Im in a bad mood haha. One of the song I downloaded today that i cant stop listening to is Ke$ha - 'The Harold Song'

With now hopefully being back into the swing of this blogging again I really want a new layout, something more mature and classy so I will need to get my thinking cap on, watch out for changes coming soon :) Ill be back soon..

She Will Be Loved...

At the risk of sounding like a typical girl with typical views on men, Im feeling a little inspired and in need of a rant tonight...

Me myself, Im a hopeless romantic with traditional views on life when it comes to love. I want to get married and have my big white dress my best friend as my bridesmaid, have a beautiful home and even more beautiful children, but most of all I want to be happy, to love and to be loved! - clearly watched far too many disney films as a young one!

I would say I have been in love and had that experience of having someone who has the ability to make you feel euphoric, magical, butterflies in the stomach and all that jazz but I begin to wonder if its all really worth it when it comes down the heartbreak? How much of yourself do u sacrifice for the one you love? And how long do you hold on before your heart finally lets go? Its something Ive struggled with for a while and its definitely something I cannot hide but I believe you should put your all into love and spoil that person with love, kindness and cuddles!

 Im a strong believer in 'everything happens for a reason', people go in and out of your life for a reason and whats meant to be will be, it all takes that annoying little thing called 'TIME'! gaaah so annoying. I wish i could switch off sometimes

Do guys truly mean what they say? Do they really feel the same things us girls feel? and do they really have the ability to be truthful and faithful?

So if anyone has some words of wisdom do share :)
