Daily Face Routine

I've seen on quite a few blogs and YouTube videos people talk about their daily face/make-up routine so this little blog does just that.
An insight to the products I use most days on my face and the make I wear for just a general daytime look... Enjoy.

So the main cleanser I use is Clean & Clear, deep cleansing lotion for oily skin. Im prone to spots, I either get   a whole load at once or the odd big one. This has a strong scent and tends to sting a little on spots but I love the tingly clean feeling it gives my skin.

The moisturiser I use is from the Simple range, its just the light face moisturiser. I don't tend to use heavy moisturisers as having quite oily skin too much moisturiser just emphasises the oilyness although being winter my skin is starting to get quite dry. This gives a good balance and is absorbs quite quickly and has no harsh scents or colourings in it.

And this little lot are my 'day look' essentials:

Concealer: MAC Select Cover - NW20
Foundation: MAC Studio Fix Fluid - NC20
Mascara: Rimmel Lash Accelerator - Black
Eyeliner: Bobbi Brown Long- Wear Gel Eyeliner - Black Ink
Blusher: Collection 2000 Blush - 04 Trouble

I absolutely adore MAC make-up and have put a good few of their products on my christmas wish list i also could not rave more about the Bobbi Brown long-wear gel eyeliner. However these are my own opinions on the products but I would say they are definitely worth a try.

Five Favourites

So as the title says here are five of my favourite things at the moment:

Ghost 'Deep Night' has to be my favourite perfume, I purchased this in duty free at Heathrow airport on the way back from Algeria and at £26 for 75ml! Such a cheap price for this perfume. Bargain

O.P.I 'Sparkle-icious' part of their 'Burlesque' range; a gorgeous glittery nail varnish lovely on its own or with a darker shade underneath. This ones quite festive too.

This little number is from Accessorize, and its actually a magnifying glass pendant. By far my favourite necklace at the moment, it has a nice vintage look to it.

In this weather and after dying my hair for the first time in years, my hair had gone quite dry do i tried this. It has the most beautiful coconut tropical smell to it and leaves your hair smelling yummy and feeling super soft.

The latest addition to my vintage frame collection, its stunning :)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Ok so i haven't really gotten into this blogging business but i never seem to get any time to myself right now but anyways its a quiet sunday so i thought i would make a start again.

Living in the scottish borders its not often we go a winter without snow. I personally love it, and what's prettier than looking outside and seeing powder white snow covering the trees and watching it fall but on the downside it's so disruptive and causes a lot of chaos round here.

While it was here we decided to make the most of it and go sledging, heres some pics:

This is me and my friends katie on the sledge together
and below the two of us climbing back up..

Not just for the kids even mum and dad got involved:

And finally Andrew and I on the sledge:

Hope you enjoy...
